The Ohio State University Airport

The Ohio State University Airport (Don Scott Field) is the cornerstone of the Aeronautics Campus, a one-of-a-kind teaching and research laboratory, located on 1,200 acres in northwest Columbus, consisting of:

  • 350,000 square feet of office, classroom, simulation lab and hangar space
  • 3 runways and associated facilities 
  • 19 university-owned aircraft
  • the Aeronautical Research Center and the Gas Turbine Laboratory

The campus hosts students and researchers from a number of disciplines throughout Ohio State, including City & Regional Planning, Geography and Industrial Design, in addition to classes from other universities.
